| And the max amperage on a Revolver motor is.....
On 7 cells all I could squeeze outta the motor was 3.5 amps 2.2 scaler tlt, about 8 pounds. Thats some torque for only 3.5 amps!! Maybe it woulda pulled more if it was rolling faster. I tried to stop it with my hand and strain the motor as much as possible. Amp draw never really went up. 2.5 amps was about the average "getting up stuff" draw. Now the half hour runtimes and 1200mah batteries make sense. |

Same here. I figured they would at least pull 10 amps, and maybe they will in a plane or a REALLY geared up crawler. It was the same amperage with the mamba 25, and the mamba maxx. I just wanted to make sure the controller wasnt limiting the motor.

I tested my revolver about 2 months ago when receiving it. With 87/12 gearing in a 5 pound rig my average draw was about 1.5amp.
