Default Lathe motor question

So i had a question about 45 and 55 turn lathe motors. i know these create incredible amount of tourque and are rated at 12 volts, but i was wondering what i should look for when buying a esc and batteries. i have team orion 7.2v 3000mah packs, and figure they would work on a txt-1 with either a 45 or 55 turn. but was uncertain about an esc. I really dont have the 120 bucks to spend on a novak, and was looking at the LRP Runner Revers Plus, mostly because its waterproof, small and rated down to 15 turns, would this work or will it suck, my budget is around 60 or 70 for a esc. any help will be appreciated . thanks guys

TXT, so one motor.

It would work on the motor no problem. The BEC is 1.5 amps though, and 5 volt. You would need a RX pack to power your servo if you want power.

I would grab a Tekin Rebel 2.

You can pick them up on ebay for about $85 shipped and they have plenty of BEC for crawling.
