Default Rebel 2 Help!

Fitted a REBEL 2 on my SW2 last night,When I go from fowards to reverse fast, It suddenly jumps backwards so much so that the truck lifts its rear wheels up,It does not jump up from reverse to foward, I s this normal for it to surge / jump like this when changing from forwards to reverse? THANKS JOHN.

sounds like you have the motor wired backwards, and your throttle channel reversed. The smart braking feature is supposed to prevent reverse from happening while you are still rolling forwards, but they dont care about going from reverse to forwards too fast.

it sets itself and is not adjustable. I dont know exactly how the smart braking works, but the motor puts out a voltage when spinning that the ESC can detect. No spinning motor = no voltage from the motor and it can go into reverse.

But isn't the reverse delay adjustable from 0 to 4 seconds?
