Default HV servo?

Hello. I need a new servo for my Honcho but I donīt know which I should choose!!
Both have the same torque but one works at 6.0V and the other works at 7.2V. I use a Castle Crations BEC so Iīm not going to connect the HV servo directly to the lipo I use the bec alimentacion.
What servo do you recomend me? Or like both have the same torque both are the same?
Thank you

Thank you.

It's impossible to provide any advice based on voltage rating alone. We need to know the exact models to guide you, or provide other options.
This far I'm very happy with my Hitec HS-7954SH, but I've seen others complain that the gears in this servo are too weak.
I had a PowerHD 1501MG but that wasn't nearly as strong as advertised, even when run on 2S LiPo, and inadequate for my needs.

Good bang for your buck, for a 6v servo that has enough torque to shred the front of your rig, savox 1231sg. 444oz/in of torque at 6v. they are oversized, but will work in the axle servo mount of an SCX10. They go for $80 or so.

Momentarily. I bought if for my XR, but it didnt fit. Tried it in the SCX10, fit nice. Then the wife informed me I am not allowed 2 expensive servos, so I sold it to get a hitec 7954 for my XR that fits. It has less torque then the 1231 though... :(

HAHA i hear about how i'm wasting money all the time.. from a woman who'll drop $30 to get her nails done or $20 on a bottle of conditioner (my gf isn't bad as most women, but still she has no room to talk)

i just want to hear how you liked it. i think it's the servo i'm going to go with and i'll probably pull the trigger and order it later today.

I never did any trail runs or anything with it. I just know it fits. Nice aluminum case. I would recommend it after briefly playing with it.

Hi Carcueza
The hitec 7954 is very nice for your Honcho. I buy one of this now for put in my wraith. I buy in this shop Aeromodelo - Hitec HS-7954SH - Servos - Emisoras very nice service and good price.
Is posible to connect at 7.4v, with castle bec is possible put this voltage.

Best regards
