i have a spektrumdx 3.0 and i have a savox sc 1256 digital i want to use for steering goes crazy when i plug it in to the spectrum receiver does this radio not support digital

I run spectrum Dx3s and mmp. When I plugged it in without a bec, the servo freaked out. Hooked up bec through the receiver it worked fine.
