Default Adding cells

1st off how many cells(volts) should the receiver have to it with a EVX ESC and 2 servos

I have this connected to it

and I am running 4 Energizer rechargable 2500mAh 1.2volt batteries

But I was thinking the receiver could use more volts because normally the batteries are 1.5volt

anyways my main questions are how many volts... so how many more batteries should i add, 1 more? 2 more?

and how to properly add them... series but how?

Thanks for any help

PS I want to run a reciever batt. pack so dont say "dont run a reciever pack"

I just recently built a RX pack out of the Energizer 2500's. I built a 5 cell pack and used battery bars to hold em together. I had a few laying around from a sub C pack and just trimmed them up a hair and they worked great.

Is there any write ups for making packs

I want to be able to charge the pack with my charger... that means the pack has to be able to come apart easy so I can put the batteries in the charger

I don't really have a "how to" on it but here are some pics of the one I built. 7 Nuon AA 1.2V (8.4V) rechargables for main pack. I can get 45 mins. to 1hr. run time out of them and they are light. I know your talking about Rx pack but it applies to it too. I bought Orion mini bones to connect mine together. Roughed up the areas to be soldered and went to it. Use my regular charger on it. Hope that helps.

Thanks much

anything will help

I played with it last night.... best thing I could have done I guess.. and worked with different battery packing setups that would work well with my chassis...... I got one to work, and of course got 6volts out of it 5cells... so now I just need a charger so I dont have to dismember the pack every time I need to charge the batteries
