| Yes take all of the electronic guts out of the servo except the motor. Then use some wire hook up your 3way switch and battery pack to the servos motor. I have ran a setup just like that before. The manual switch on the truck sucks though. The truck starts winching away without control. When the truck is near the end of the line you have to be quick to shut it off before the line reels in and snaps off. I'd mount the switch in a TQ3 radio and find a esc to power the winch. The stock servo control unit does not have enough power to really pull like you need it to. Last edited by Mnster; 08-16-2006 at 11:48 PM. |
