Default Balloon a motor?

Yes I did read the waterproofing electronics sticky.

Anyone ever balloon a sensored brushless motor? Is this a bad idea?

I did take the motor apart and Corrosion-X it, but I'm still concerned about the deeper water in an upcoming TTC.

Without having any air to breath she will surely overheat and fry up on you. You need the fresh air to transfer thru the motor to help cool it as it runs. Unfortunately there isnt much for waterproofing a brushless motor other than a couple replacements and a field change when it happens. Clean water you should be fine but when you start dealing with mud and dirty water you will sieze. Good luck!!

cut up a t-shirt and rap the cloth around the motor. it'll keep the big chunks of mud out but let air in
