| Trouble with a winch
Hi i trying to make a winch out of an old servo i have pulled the chip out and the bit what stops it turning but i dont know what to do with the 3 wires from the reciver bit. heres what it looks like. If you want it to be proportional, and be controlled from the radio, you need to leave the PCB in. If you just yanked it out, leaving only the motor and gearset, then all you have now is basically a gear motor. You'll need to wire the motor to a speed control to run it off the radio. Check out this thread for how to mod a servo for continious rotation. |

Thanks well i think i have just broke a servo the PCB is in many pieces as it was realy stuck in and i ripped it out with some pliers. But not all is lost so i have now made it so its operated by a switch for on the truck.
