| Anyone running an Airtronics M8 Tx?
I have to say, I think this is THE best transmitter for three channel rock crawling. The third channel is a dial, alowing you to vary the amount of L & R rear steer you have available. Sweet! LMK if any of youz guyz run it and how you like it.

I've been using it in 2 of the crawlers I previously had, And now in my NN Clod. It is really awesome for the 3rd channel(rear steer). IMO

futaba 3pk does the same thing.........those radios are to expensive to buy just to have proportional rear stearing.

A few of the SoCal guys use it. I did as well but I switched to a 6-channel stick. It doesn't take very long to get used to and I don't have to go back and forth to each knob to steer. It's definitely a personal preference kind of thing though. Also those radios do alot more than just offer proportional steering. Not to mention running DSM. |

I already had one from when I used to race, so I didn't want to let it sit. It was challenging at first, but I found and piece of a switch that I was able to use to make an extension for the 3rd channel that pointed down when the wheels are straight. This makes it easy to steer the rear axle just using my thumb. I didn't make any permanent changes, it was a press-fit over the knob.
