Talking is there any type of 12 v esc ?

ok i have the two motors from air compressors that crapped out on me they are 12v dc motors (high torque) but they look like giant can motors, is there a way to hook an esc up to these ? or make one like the old tamiya servo style but bigger ?

lmk i have an idea!!!

Yeah, there are 12v ESC's out there. The Tekin Rebel 2 is rated for 10 cells, and some of the GM Racing ones are as well. But the amp draw of the motor will really be the deciding factor, I think. You can always get an ESC designed for combat robots - they are huge, but they are beefy.
