Probably need more info... what kind of crawler? Clod, TLT, TXT, etc...?

I use lipo in my 2.2 but many use 2/3A NiMH

I use lipo because my battery placement is rather high and the lipos weigh next to nothing... the same is true for 2/3A; they're fairly light, small and easy to find a place to mount 'em and you can still get 45+ min from some of the 1400s I bet...

I am making my self a battery pack from 6 aa Nimh batterys it will be in 2 different sections 2 in each one and i will mount 2 on the axle and 1 on the chassie, It is realy cheep at only £14 ($25) for every thing im using 2700amh batterys. It will be quite a bit smaller and lighter than a 6 cell stick pack but the perfomance will nearly be the same.
