Default really dumb servo ?

ok so a friend of mine and me are building his clod crawler and hes at work and i want to finish it so i can try (break) it first, problem i have is i dont have a y harness for both steering servos. can i just tap one into the other? what are the functions of the 3 wires? also when just one servo is hook up (doesnt matter which one) the steering is backwards. can i just reverse some wires to fix it?

Check the servo reverse switch on the transmitter to fix the backwards steering. As far as splicing the wires together, if you can solder ok, you MIGHT be able to pull it off. But I would strongly suggest a harness rather than f-in' up your servos...

the controler should have a reverse switch on it.

the wires are all important, red and black are the power and the other color is the coding.

his controller is so old i dont think there is a reverse switch but ill double check. i know i can solder it , i have to solder smaller stuff than that at work sometimes. so if theres no reverse switch i guess ill have to get used to it being backwards. and the controller is a stick not pistol type. im guessing its as old as the clod was
