If it is truly 55t on 5 poles it will be soooooo slow and unusable on 6 cells, much slower than a 55t integy. I would bet it is 38t single. I have the same type motor. They like 12 cells or more (edit: at least that is my preference) Last edited by JohnRobHolmes; 01-27-2007 at 10:35 PM. |

I'd be willing to bet my next paycheck that a Mamba Maxx and MPJet 28/20-7 will turn that motor inside out and not even break a sweat. I'm currently running about 68:1 final ratio. Even with that high of a gear,it'll creep along with ease and then you can stab the gas and nearly do a wheelie. I'd agree,it'll probly be way to slow, wheelspeed is where it's at. I'd just guess that thing would spin about the same as a 95t 3 pole motor,if it's truely a 55t 5 pole. When I was still packin brushes around and winding my own motors,I felt a 65t was on the verge of being to slow. It would be interesting though to just see what it did have as far as power and what it did for runtimes. You might try that motor and run a 30t spur and a 29t pinion |
