Default ESC problem please help

I just put hobby grade electrics in a nylint, ( I know, why waste the time and money, but I was board to death)
I had everything mocked up, and it all worked.
UNTIL i soldered the motors to the speed control.
I am using a novak rooster until my moped gets here.
The steering doesnt even work now.
The led light on the esc, wouldnt even come on. Now it does but nothing works.
The one touch set up, is there any tricks or anything??
I dont understand why it all worked 5 minutes ago, and now it doesnt!
Any help would be good.
Thanks

anyone please. I have been to the novak site, and followed directions for the set up.... Still nothing.
I dont think nylint motors would make a novak crap out.
So I just dont know.
Any ideas would help me out.
Thanks

Its a old roll, theres not label on it. But its the same stuff that I have used several times before.
With several different novaks and tekens.

Last night when I was finishing off my first crawler I was putting the servo and esc wires in wrong into the reciever.... I messed with it for an hour before I figured it out. Perhaps try that. Worked for me, and now I'm crawling!

How about the on and off switch? It might have gone bad.

Its servo in channel 1 and speed control in channel 2 right?
when I turn the on off switch on, the led comes on now,
but only if the battery is the only thing plugged in.
If I hold the set up button down at the same time that I turn it on,
The led turns red, then green.
but i cant set it up.
Im about to throw it through the window!
I dont know, thanks for the help,
I am going to try another speed control today, and see if that works.
Thanks again

GOT IT TO WORK!!!!
Actually, I dont even know what I did.
I Did get the one touch set up to work,
now its workin great, I am happy, I thought
that I shorted out the speed control.
Now, just get the body to fit( a 1/18th nylint with a rooster, traxxas reciever, and the batt pack(tummy tuck) is tight.
THanks again for the suggestions.
