Angry dynamite tazer is a pos, TR2 took a ****, now this super rooster is pissing me off

ok so the saga of my tlt continues, i just installed my super rooster last night, (well rizzo installed it i drank beer) but anyway its got a super rooster now...

problem:
its really smooth going in reverse, accurate, easy to control etc, runs great in reverse.. but its VERY touchy going forward, look at the trigger wrong and the truck jumps forward about a foot... im getting really pissed off no this is the 3rd esc ive installed in this ****ing thing and its still performing like ****... [rant off] but i must say when it does do what i want it to it crawls very well...

any help would be great...

Three things to check:

1: Make sure you set it up for the transmitter your using

2: Make certain the speed control and your trims arn't reversed

3: Maybe your glitching?

Check your motor, the brushes might be worn or binding

make sure you dont have your exponitals set goofy iit would cause it to jump like that. I use them on my r1 to dumb down the throttle keeps me off the gas lol

well i cleared everything then i had the set the throttle trim all the way up to get the thing to sit still... i started adjusting things and it seemed to be getting better, but then the batteries on the radio started dying... so ill figure it out tomorrow.

well i got bored and decided to start messing with it some more... i got it to smoothen out a lot but its still a little jumpy and glitchy going forward. almost like the motor is dying, its smooth going in reverse but when crawling really slow forward it pulses like the motor is having a hard time turning... is this a possibility with my integy 55t lathe? it isnt new, i got it used. maybe i should get a new one....

Try reversing the throttle in the radio and then swap the wires
going to the motor. It sounds like when you are going forward it
is using reverse in the speed controller.Forward should engage
smoother than reverse,so I think you have it reversed.
Switch the throttle in the radio and then see if it will engage smoother
when going forward with the radio.(Truck should go in reverse)If it does
swap the wires on the motor.

once you reprogram the radio you will probably want to reprogram the ESC as well cause the siginal it is getting is going to be very differnt and it it was set with exponitials set its going to be way off too
