Just felt compelled to post up in regards to the customer service I have received from Hitec. I sent my broken 7954 in for repair and they fixed everything, new gears and replaced the motor. This wasn't a new servo by any means, over a year of use and abuse on my xr. I will be doing another build soon so I bought a 7950 and the 7954 will probably go on a wraith. They have gained a life long customer! They really went above and beyond in my opinion. Thanks Hitec |

Other than some issues with the HiTec 7954's, I've been happy with their servos & service. Between my rigs & my son's, we have quite a few HiTec servos. Never an issue with factory service, great performing servos. About the only "non-HiTec" servo we run (for steering on comp rigs) is a Futaba BLS174(?) that came on a used roller. Yes, I recommend HiTec for crawler steering servos. 7955 for 1.9 comp rigs 7950 for 2.2 comp rigs 7980 (larger than a 7955/7950) when you want to go break steering stuff All should be run on a CC 10A external BEC. |
