| Eight Cells and a Rooster?
I'm going to be running a regular Rooster in my TLT with a 55 Turn. I know it's rated for 7 cells, but was wondering if anybody has tried running eight cells? Can the ESC handle this, or will it go up in smoke?

Yes I do run 8. I never had any problem running 8 with the Rooster.

Thanks for the info, I guess if I cook it, I'll only be out $30.

8 Cells and a high turn motor = no problem 8 cells and a low turn motor = fried So it'll work for a crawler without any issue. |

More good info, I hadn't considered the low current of the high wind motors. I'm going to be using a 55 turn, and I'll keep an eye on the temperature of the unit.
