|  3s goat system?
Hey guys this may be a silly question but I'm no expert on electrics so I thought I would ask.my Novak system I bought comes with a 3s esc but it says in the instructions to run a bec if your gonna use 3s, my question is because I'm running a spectrum receiver that can handle 12v do I still need to run the bec? Thanks in advance for any help given. Simon |

The issue is how bad does the internal ESC BEC deal with stepping down the pack voltage to what other bits need. If you have a steering servo of less than ~200inoz, you're borderline OK. Stronger servos will LOVE an external BEC.  |
