Best trail/crawl motor on 2S

i'm looking around the forum, and most people runs their motors on 3S, I have 3S batteries, but they are 5000mah and they are big heavy and bulky and dont fit in my new rig, my best option would be the stock AE-2 ESC with 2S batteries and of course a motor...our spot is most likely a mix of trail and crawl, and I would like to have the best of both worlds with torque and speed on 2S, 27T ? 21T ? 35T? and which company? Holmes, Tekin? I actually have the stock axial 27T but i find I like the speed but might be missing a little bit of torque...better quality better torque or 27T is 27T no matter what?

27T is not 27T from mfr to mfr. IMO - Holmes 45T torquemaster for more of a crawler on the rocks and a Tekin 35T handwound for more of a trails rig. The HH wont necessarily produce the speed you may be looking for but will give gobs of torque. The Tekin will give the speed but you will loose some torque. There isnt a 1 do it all motor but these will get you close. Also have you thought brushless at all? And what rig are you droppin it in too?

actually it's going into my SCX10, I didnt wanted to get a new combo since I already have the AE-2 speed
