Default Need wiring help...NOW!!!!!

Due to money constraints, i only recently was able to get all of the electronics for my comp rig for moab. Heres a list of what i got and then i'll tell ya the problem.

Clod axles
2 65T lathe motors wired in series
Novak XR wired for single battery use
Spektrum DX3
venom 3000 maH pack
2 Hitec HS5694MG high torque servos

heres my problem..... this thing is a turd! full throttle is bearly moving and the battery is daining REALLY fast! runtime is only @ 2-3 min. The ESC is not getting hot at all and periodically the rear motor has no power in reverse... will not move even when lifted off of the ground.

So my questions are:

Are the 65T lathe motors set to 0 (zero) degrees?
Should i have this stupid thing wired in Parallel?
Im going to try to re-wire by tomarrow night to check for wiring problems, if i cant get this thing working... i kinda have no reason to go to moab so any and all help is WELL appreciated... so .....HELP!!!!!

Definately parallel.

You sure the batteries are getting a full charge?

you need to go parallel! here is a link-

http://www.utrcrc.com/tech.html

you can double check to make sure your motors are set to the zero degree timing mark. if this continues to be a problem, i'm sure between all of us at moab we will be able to get your rig squared away.

The 65t should be set at 0 degrees

As for wiring, I did mine like this.

Is the battery new?

Hope it helps!

Dont worry man... we're there! I just had a mental melt down last night... i worked on my crawler all day yesterday... and i mean aaaaalllllllllllllllll day! only to have it slug across the floor and ssspptt. I was really frustrated to say the least. once i calmed down and some guys on here posted up i started tinkerin with it and noticed what was happeneing.

So for those of you hooking up a clod based crawler with 2 65T lathes...DO NOT WIRE THEM IN SERIES!!!! EVER! IT SUCKS!!!

See and here I was telling my wife "I know it is crazy, but I'm packing up my soldering iron and taking it with me".

Now for sure I will take it.
