Default Cheap, Sensored and Slow

I'm hunting for a cheap-ish sensored motor for my trail rig. I lucked into a sensored ESC this weekend and thought I'd put it in my truck, so I need a motor. I figure I can sell or trade my FXR to make this happen.

Any suggestions for something under/around $50?

I'm fairly happy with my $35 Turnigy TrackStar (available in many Kv ratings). The only downside I've found this far is that the mechanical timing can't be set at less than 15 degrees, so don't have it run in its reverse direction to get the crawler moving forward or it will drain your battery too fast.

****crawlers.com sells Novak 18.5T for $75. That's the cheapest brand name BL motor I know of. I've seen Tekin Redline BL for $75ish too. Less than that you'll have to go to our good friends in china at hobbyking.com like ollie mentioned. turnigy trackstar. I've never used one but just ordered 2.

Edit: C K R C C R A W L E R S . C O M. not sure why I can't refer you to a vendor website. I guess they are a bad word on the forums.

I sure do, Dude, but I try to be less of an asshole over here.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'd go brand name if I thought I needed to. However, its going in a CC01 that doesn't get much mileage, or need a huge degree of precision, or massive wheel speed. Right now, I've got a Low Bucks 55t running through an RC4WD 4:1 gru. Nice and slow!

Ah! I remember you now. You were pretty heavily into the discussions involving the mini TA05 and the short lived 17.5 mini class. As for my love of Tamiya - It's all about shared parts across dozens of platforms - a step screw from my CC01 also fits everything else I own! There's as much M03 in my trail truck as in my race car.
