Default throttle problem

im having a bit of a problem. ive tried two escs on lrp runner and a pos tazer. im using a 21t double venom fireball motor. the problem is: i will run it forward or reverse and after it stops it wont respond when i use the trigger. steering still works though, but when i go over and give a little push it will go again as long as i keep on the throttle. im not real good with electronics still pretty new to it so any advice help would be great.

Your motor might be dirty. Clean the comm and the brushes.

Yeah, it sounds like the comm on the motor is really nasty or you have a brush getting hung up. How old is the motor?

Oh then it's probably not broke in yet. You might need to break in the brushes.
