Default My wiring diagram :TR2 + CS-80 + Servo Regulator

Hello.

I plan to update my TXT build with 1/4 scale servo. I think the best choice is Hobbico CS-80.

The problem is to power them and after a lot of reading, I think to buy Novak Servo Regulator to put directly between Battery and servos. The regulator will not be connected to receiver. And no RX pack. The BEC from TR2 will only powered the receiver for the TR2 himself.

How about my diagram, is it OK ? Just one regulator is it sufficient for the two servos ?

Thanks.

I think the the BEC circuit in the TR2 has enough balls for one CS-80. Just power one servo from the ESC and the other servo from the regulator.

BTW, I run the regulator from MaxxProd. I have both of my 1/4 scale servos hooked to it, but it can handle 15 Amp continuous and a 30 Amp peak.

Won't you need to run the ground from the reciever to the servo's as well? Seems like I tried a simular set up once and without the ground from the reciever to the servo's hooked up,they wouldn't respond

I only have the yellow signal wire going from my receiver to my servos. They work just fine. I think it is because everything still has a common ground back to the one battery. The only time you might have to run the ground between the servo and the receiver is if you are using a separate battery for the servos.
