whats the best battery for the price.im looking for a 3c 5000 mah or better 25c or so?for my wraith

for budget packs take a look at hobbypartz and hobbyking.

in my crawler i run a 2s 5000mAh 20c Skylipo. great little pack. with the abuse its taken i should be dead.

in my e revo i run zippy brand packs. they seem to be good.

i have a turnigy nano tech pack as well. many say these are very good so i must have gotten the only bad one. it was a 3s. one cell in it died in under 8 cycles. no over charging or over discharging. makes a pretty nice 2s now though!

you can also look into Haiyin. Good packs at a decent price. They have 3s 5000mah 40c for less than $50. I have one of these and it performs flawlessly. Have bought other batteries from them also with great results. Shipping is usually fast and at decent prices.

All the 3S packs I bought for my crawler came from here, would easily recommend this place.
Killer bargains on charging sacks as well. (I store each batt in it's own sack when not being used.)

That battery from Value Hobby looks like a good one. The one I use in our Wraith is this one:

Turnigy nano-tech 4000mah 3S 25~50C Lipo Pack (USA Warehouse)

It fits the battery tray like it was made for it and works great with my 13.5 BL setup. Racing the kids on the sledding hill I beat them going down and taunted them while they hiked back up. On our indoor course it wheelie's out of the corners and has enough oomph to clear our table top. Not saying this battery is better than the one from VH, just saying this is the one I have experience with.

I just got a couple 3S 3700 packs from Value Hobbies, haven't tried them yet but will report what I think.

Used to go right to Hobbypartz / Gens - Ace but man, thier prices have recently gone through the roof on most of the popular packs.

Man I have had 2 gens ace 2s 5300mah from hobbypartz stop taking a charge after a max of 20 charges. Using a thunder ac6 charger.
Should I go with a different battery brand? 3s?

I too have had a Gen's Ace 5000mah 40C 2s fail after only about a dozen packs. Ticked me right of, it's the most expensive battery I owned. I'm getting the feeling that as their demand and production went up, the quality control went down.

I'm having great luck with Fly Sky hardcase 4000mah 30c 2s and 3s packs, and also their 4400 mah 40c 2s packs.

I've sworn off Turnigy packs. I had two of their 4000may 30c, and three of their 5000mah 20C, packs die within a year. Not acceptable, even if they are only $20 a pop.
