Default EVX problems

Ok,I have bought a txt roller and i got it going tonight...
but i have ran into a problem with the evx?
Im running a mod evx to run 1 battery, 2 35t lathes in series,1400 intellect rx pack,tq3 radio and recivier and a hitec 5955 they all run off a 3300 battery

When the truck is on it and i turn full lock left or right and then try to go forward or reverse nothing happens, but once i stop steering and let the wheels go back to centre and then hit forward or reverse it works fine, i set up the esc again, and still the same

what could my problem be? do i need more voltage?
any info would be great

Tom.
