| increasing MAH with lipos
I have a bunch of sky lipo 2s 1800mah batteries i use in my twin hammers. The 1800s only run it for about 20 min. I was wondering it I could take 2 packs and solder the leads together to make a 3600mah battery. Red to red, and black to black that way the voltage stays the same but the MAH doubles. Is this something that could be done? I think i would also have to do the same thing for the balance plug as well. Does anyone have any experience doing something like this? Would it effect the charger, and would i then have to charge the batter at 3.6 amps instead of the current 1.8? Thanks |

Don't solder the leads together! Just make a parallel adapter. That way you can still charge you batts safely the way they came from the manufacturer. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 |

X2 on the parallel harness. You can charge the batteries in parallel at the increased amperage. It would be a good idea to buy or make a parallel balance harness, as well. This is how I charge my packs before I go racing every week. Works great!
