Default Ae-2 need answer ASAP

My ae2 esc is connected to an Orion 19t method modified motor and it won't chime in the motor. I cleaned the com, but it still won't work. Then I tried to reconnect the RX to the TX but that didn't work either.

Help please

You say it doesn't "chime", but does it work?

It'll chime the first time to say its connected, but not the second time to say the motor is. And the motor won't go.

Have you tried a different motor?

Will the servo turn? Try to recalibrate the esc. If after recalibration it still doesn't run the motor then the motor is bad.

I had this same problem last year with the same esc....the esc was bad. Servo would work, throttle wouldn't no matter what I did.

You can connect the motor directly to the battery to see if it will turn. Just be careful not to short anything. If the motor spins it isn't the problem.

The LEDs can tell you what is going on with the ESC. Here is a link to the Castle Creations FAQ page. See #13 for decoding the LED Status.

Turn on radio. Pull trigger and cut esc on. When it beeps, full reverse. When it beeps go to neutral, should beep again.
