Default Is my lathe motor fried or am I under geared?

so I have a 55t integy with a 13t to a xxx-t tranny, revo diffs and narrowed maxx mashers on a fairly light rig, and it will barly go up a wall with the other tires on my slick deck, it stalls out.

I broke it in in annother rig so I dont know how it was new, and when i put it in this one I put too long of screws in to mounts it so they were rubbing and making an owfull noise, that I couldnt figure out till it wore away a little of the magnets.

So I have tried a bunch of different things to try and figure out my problem, and in the process Ive got it pretty hot a bunch of times which may have taken a toll on it??

I took it apart and nothing looked real wrong butt I dont know too much about electric motors.

thanks for any help.

Sounds more like it might be a battery issue. What's your whole setup as far as electronics go? And make sure your drivetrain isn't binding...

...and what size spur are you running?

tq3 and super rooster, and its not the batterie because I have many batteries that ive tried, even ones that I know work from using them in other RCs. Im pretty sure its not binding but I'll check again.

Try buying another one. They are cheap enough to have a spare.

I hear that the integy motors are notorious for the comm being out of round when new. You might try having it turned.

How many cells you running?

For a 55t I only run 8+ cells

Well I figured it out, I didnt know the spur gear moved in and out when under load and it was real close to my mount and when under load it would move out a little and jam itself on the mount.

And I have an 8 cell batterie but its only a 1200 stick for my air soft gun, it seemed to work better but I havnt tried it with it fixed, i would definatly like to gear down a little and add a couple cells though.
