On an MOA, is it ok to use mismatched ESCs, say an FXR and a Micro? Thanks!

I've done it with mixed results.
If you're within a brand (say Castle ESC's) the differences can be fairly small, but different brands will likely be noticeable but may be drivable.

I had a CC ESC in front of my 2.2 and a FX-R in the rear, I was running a Futaba 3PM-x & WantAmix. It was almost impossible to get them even in operation.
Using a hacked GT3B, 4PL, etc. may have been easier.

I would recommend using similar ESC's front & rear, but it can work if you mix & match.

Ok Charlie, let me pick your brain a bit then. I'm having issues with my smashed FXRs. I can't get one to arm up. The one on the bottom constantly strobes, like it's searching for a signal. The one on top armed up no problem. This problem is out of the blue as well. Calibration didn't work. It didn't even recognize that I was trying to calibrate. I am soooo sick and tired of these FXRs. I have BRXLs on the way. I am done, but the rig is a paper weight until I get them in.

Oh, and if this matters, I can't get either FXR to pop up on the Hotlink. The Hotlink has only one green LED lit. WTF am I doing wrong? Really want to shoot these FXRs.
