| ESC BEC question
so what stat when look at a ESC determines if u can run 2 lathe motors? bec if about the servo power correct? what if i were to use a plastic brick of 4 AA's for the servos? ya see i have 2 older ESC and am curios if i can run either of them of i need to add an ESC to the shopping list.... i have the Duratrax Blast with mosfet & and an older version of the novak rooster like the 93 model..... thx in advance dev, i hate to bug ya but after all the reading i've done in the last day or 2 u seem to know ur stuff lol Last edited by roadblock; 09-14-2006 at 09:26 PM. |

The BEC numbers determine whether the ESC will be able to supply sufficient power to the servos. Looking at the Roosters BEC rated at .05 amps, I don't think it will supply enough power. But, add a Nitro regulator and you should be golden! http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJJF6&P=7 |

that thing plays middle man between the battery pack and the ESC??? i've never heard of, or seen that before, kool.....

I beleive it goes in line between the ESC and the receiver.
