|  FXR & 4s poll
How many are running a FXR and 4s? This poll started because I was wondering about lipo cut off. The most you can set the cut off to is 12 volts, which is 3 volts per cell. That's too low in my opinion. I was thinking I would get a number of how many people are running 4s and email Tekin and see is they would change the max cut off to something like 14 volts. PLEASE VOTE IF YOU RUN 4S  |

Nope just change the capacitor to a 25 volt and your good to go

Sell the fxr and Just buy a bxrl or an esc that can handle 4s. Save yourself the drama.

Never ran 4S in my rigs....regardless of ESC brand/model. Posting out of curiosity. I do run 3S LiPO all the time though in comp rigs. Yes, I've read, "All you do is change the cap to a higher voltage".  |

Here is what I have been running on my comp truck. 850mah turnigy 4s paks 25c tekin FXRs, smashed with a 25v cap. 35t Brood motors - 4 magnet cans and LOVE power Berg gears with 12t pinions. The FXRs do get a little warm after a 4-5 minute run, but no warmer than they do with the 3s on them. Just picked up some of cheap battery packs 4s 450mah packs and am going to give those a try. I know a couple guys that run 4s constantly on their FXRs and Mamba Micro Pros, haven't seen one smoke yet. |

Tekin said no go. They said they don't want people getting the idea that the fxr is approved for 4s.
