|  Adding Extra LED's to Axial Controller?
I have the simple axial LED controller. I would like to add two more led's up front for a total of 6 lights on the front. I bought two more lights and tried hooking them up, and all of the front lights got very dim. Tried switching the wires and no light at all. Has anyone had luck with this?

Are you adding them in series or parallel? I added two, in parallel, and they work fine.

Tried it both ways, no luck. Were the two lights that you added in series themselves, then in parallel to the existing system?

No, I added them both in parallel.

So, it worked? Let's see some pics. Here's mine. Rock-lights on one Axial controller AX24257 (6 LEDs on the white side, nothing on the red), head and tail-lights setup on the stock controller (same part # but only has 2 whites and 2 reds). All running off the 4th channel with a HeyOK dual controller and Losikid's modded gt3b so I can turn either the running lights or the rock lights on/off from the Tx.  Getting a Comanche body and 1.9 Iroks tonight. Gotta wait for new body posts to finish up though. |
