Default Tazer ESC

Anyone used one of these in a TLT crawler? My nephew picked it up a the LHS for $30.00. I'm trying to diagnose a elec. problem and I'm going to try it in mine. Just curious. i'm running a XRS currently.

I've got it installed and it accually works good. No more glitching problem. Something in my XRS must be bad. It would just stall sometimes even on flat ground. I could hold it full throttle when it stalled, walk over and pick it up off the ground and it would start going again. As if the weight of the truck was too much of a load for the ESC. But I ran it for 9 months with no problem. Who knows? The only thing about the Tazer is the reverse delay.
