You can replace the gears, around $15 for a gear set. Though if you are using this on a clod or txt you will strip the gears again. You probably should upgrade to a stronger servo.

If it just stripped this one time, turn it 180* and get one more use out of the gear.

if it is the middle brass gear you can do what TxCruzr advises, if it happens again you will have to replace the gearset, wich isn't a bad idea because the hitec mg servos get slop in them after a while. i don't think you will find a stronger servo for cheap.

I just changed mine on my super from those to the 755 1/4 scale hytecs. There is no comparison, they are three times the servo and you can get two for $75 at tower. I changed just in time for bucks pocket and I'm glad i did.
Started new tuber build

So long as you don't run stupid stearing, extremely offset/wide wheels, or the linkage at the end of the servo horn the 645's are plenty durable.

I've only stripped them being stupid.

servo savers suck for rockcrawling. In my opinion servos are expendable.

totally agree ^^^ i had a couple of the nice ofna servo savers, and i took them of , clods suck at steering and a servo saver compounded to that makes turning on the rocks almost impossible, they do protect the servo from damage but at the expense of much needed steering power.

Call me stupid a few times over. I've stripped out my 645's a few times. Used to carry an extra gear set with me just in case. Finally I went digital JR and haven't had any problems yet. Downfall, it cost $100 each. But you can't complain about 330 oz torque

I can't get them to hold up in my super longer than 2 packs usually even if i don't roll it! 5955's for me thank you!

They work great in the 2.2 though!
