| Charging custom 6v battery pack
I have a battery pack I made consisting of 5, NIMH AA 1600mah batteries, with a servo type connector that plugs into my RX box. I usually pop out the batteries and charge them in my 5 hour AA battery charger, but I'd like to be able to charge them with my Superbrain 959 charger. Could I solder in a suitable connector on the pack, and hook it up to my 959 and charge it like that? Would I have to change any settings, or would it just set everything for me? I don't want to damage my batteries. Thanks! |

They sell an adapter to just charge them with your regular charger. I have some reciver packs that I've charged this way with my 969 and had no problems. Don't know where to tell you to look for the adapter, I found mine at the LHS. |

I would not charge your AA's at more then 1.5 amps. I charge mine at 1.0 amp or if I want them to have more run time I charge it at .5 amps.
