Default xrs problems (i think)

When I turn to the left the servo starts doing is own thing, turning to the right is no problem, all this happens when it is on the ground with-in 3-5 seconds. If I hold it up in the air it takes 10 seconds or more before the left turn creates issues

Changed the servo already same results...

Used the throttle channel on reciever same results...

Using a spectrum reciever and a 656 servo,2.2 truck,PTI axles, w/moabs on wild daggers and wideners

Any thoughts before I go and replace the ESC or reciever.

If you have an RX pack available, unplug the esc and use the rx pack to power the servo. That will tell you if it's the ESC or not.

I dont know if it is the same problem i was having but mine would work great if i was going forward or reverse and i could go foward and turn right with no problems but turn to the left and it would freeze up on me so i put a receiver pack on it to give it more power and it works like a charm.Im running the 5955tg servo (333oz of tourque) so i figure that the XRS isnt powerful enough to run big servos. So put a receiver pack on it and see if that cures the problem it did for me

Well, you could also use a servo regulator. Novak makes one. It's tiny. It can be found on Tower for 20 bones.

Figured out the problem or at least solved it. When I put the receiver pack in place problem solved, I wasnt satified with running the rx pack so I decided to change my rx itself since I had just upgraded to a spectrum system. Changed with a spare spectrum----same results.. PUT THE TQ3 back in and all works well. SO.....................I believe that it is a compatability issue between the spectrum rx and the xrs esc
