I have three of these. Two in scalers and one in my b4.2 buggy. They work great. Haven't had a problem with range yet. |

PS, I know the 4PL requires you to change/select the correct mode when using different RX's.

Make sure your tx isn't a FASST system. If you need cheap brass check hobby kings FrSky FASST rx's. Cheaper than that one Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2 |

| Re: Using Futaba FHSS system? Wish I knew!! I KNOW the difference between FHSS and Fasst systems. I have both. I started this thread just to see if anyone were using this particular Rx. I thought it was cool just for the fact that it's antenna-less.

Within FHSS, there are 2 differnt types, you have to select the correct one. Would not be the 1st time someone found a "great & cheap RX" only to find later it won't work with the TX.

FutabaŽ FHSS & S-FHSS Rx/Tx Compatibility For the 4 PL it even has it broken down by S-FHSS normal and high modes. I have one of the R204GF-E receivers and it works with both modes with the 4PL.

I posted the link the compatibility chart so people could see what radios work with what radios and gave my personal experience with the receiver. Also I totally agree with your comments about having some kind of documentation about the receiver comparability before spending $$$$$ before you know it works. I guess I should if made my post simpler. I will try it again. Before buying any FSHH receiver for use with your Futaba radio check this chart. FutabaŽ FHSS & S-FHSS Rx/Tx Compatibility

Then again, I run 2 different radios, the OP may also but not list all of his. Shrug. I will yield, not worth pissing on further. As I already stated. Quote:
Thanks. I will assume the info is good for others, pissing is over, thus we can continue on as always. Hope all have a nice weekend of crawling. Don't forget, tomorrow is Mothers Day. While I may come off as a "Mother", I'm not a Mom, so remember yours.

I use this rx in my scaler with a 3pl works great no problems other than when i bought my first one and took my rig out i forgot to fill the hole in my radioshack project box where all the wires come out and i submerged the rig and it kept running the rest of the run but when i went to run it the next day the rx was ruined. but i have learned my lesson.
