Default two 380 motors vs one 540

I'm going to make a scaler using a Rastar body but i want to keep as much on the interior as possible so i'm thinking about using smaller motors. How would two 380 motors compare to one 540 in torque, crawling abilty and speed ?

Think two geo metro motors vs a 454 Chevy....

Getting motors to work in sync like that is not easy either....

Seconded - one good 540 is generally speaking way less hassle, less cost, and considerably more performance, especially where torque is concerned.

Here's my Rastar Discovery body on my TLT-1 - not much of a scaler, but more suited than the 1/10th on there before. I may drop the shell a bit to make it more realistic, and I may do what you do and try to build a proper scaler for another of these shells next. What's your chassis and are you installing LEDs? Which Rastar have you got?
