Default tlt rockbuster battery help

I might have missed the answer to this question in another post , sorry if i did...........I ordered my rockbuster this week and am wanting to get a gameplan on batteries............im gonna keep it pretty stock for a while as far as the chassis goes........am i pretty much stuck running that 1700 pack tamiya recomends or are there other options...........ive got a couple mini-t packs that i could reconfigure ,but i didnt know what cell size i need to be using..............thanks for the help

Ok, I would just recommend running a standard stick pack. Find a place twards the front of the chassis, to mount it. Remember to mount it as low as possible.
