1.Cut the plug off an old servo.
2.wire positive to the red wire, negative to the black wire, and nothing to the white wire.
3. ????
4. Plug it in the battery slot on your receiver - PROFIT!!!!

are you trying to use the rx pack to run your servos and then have another pack that connects to your esc to run the motors? if so, you need to cut the red wire from the esc to the rx. also it would be better to use a 5 cell reciever pack for your servos

this also allow more power to the motor while full crank on the servo?

i belive the motor takes priority over the servos, so it means the servos get full power when the motor is wide open....

Or, don't cut the red wire, and just leave the the ESC's switch off.
Either way, don't leave the external pack plugged in all the time unless you use a switch on that.

Holy's idea is good. Also instead of cutting the red wire on the ESC just pull it out of the plug and tape it off. This way if your servo batteries dye you can still use it. 5 cell is ok if you have rechargables. They pull 1.2 volt x 5cell = 6volt. 4 Regular AA are 1.5 x 4 = 6 volts.

Is that all you have to do? How does it seperate the normal battery pack from the receiver/servo pack? How does it not continue to send power from the esc supply AND the newly added pack?

You simply don't turn the esc's switch on.

I don't get it, the ESC can operate with the switch in the off position?

I know for a fact that a Novak Super Rooster does. It gets its power from the receiver pack, just like the servos.

Yes, but if you turn the ESC switch on you run the risk of frying the ESC.

The way it was described to me was to plug a pack into the esc, remove the black wire from the servo plug from the esc and plug it into the receiver. Then plug your receiver pack into the receiver as normal. The ESC will take it's power from the pack it's directly connected to, and the servo will be powered by the receiver pack.

It just breaks the connection from the battery power.
