|  Old MMP paired with a traxxas vxl motor?
Would I have any problems running this brushless motor with my old MMP?

Sorta depends on the motor KV rating and ESC input voltage. The ESC has limits depending on what you're running. I'm assuming you're talking about a Mamba Max Pro, not a Mamba Micro Pro??? Both are "MMP's".  |

It will power the motor just fine. I'm running the same setup in my 4x4 slash at the moment. |
