Default DX 6 on a Hi-lift

I wanted to run the DX6 on my HI-Lift and didnt like the ratcheting left gimball for it. I almost wrote this off as being a usebale option, I took the one i was going to get and opened it, NO big deal in # parts but getting ahold of them was going to be the issue. I called customer support @ Horizon and was told to order it this way it wont be available to get.... talked to my rep (hobby shop I work for helped with this), she immediately put me in contact with service and they are sending a couple of springs and black centering piece i needed. Now i have to figure out a way to make my brain run 4 wheel steer with only the right stick now.

Also I wanted to get the new BR6000 Bot receiver to run the steering servo but was told it would be unnecasary. The micro has no issue running

I thaught this may help those wanting to do the same

If they told you that you couldn't get it with self centering gimbals then you talked to someone who dosn't know shiat, cause I ordered mine from them direct with this done so my warenty would be covered and they did it no problem and free of charge.

the one guy wouldnt sell me the parts or find the parts for me... If its a warranty issue I can remove said parts and install the orig parts, no issue

Another option, for those that are so inclined to DIY.

Picked up and modded a DX6

The only difference between the AR6000 (Aircraft Receiver) and the BR6000 (Bot Receiver) is that the BR6000 has failsafe positions on all channels...handy if you run throttle on more than one channel.

Thanks for the tip Jeckler but Im tied for time and these parts will be factory and less likely for them to give me Shiat when/if my stuff needs service

Can you post the Part #'s needed to convert it or how you talked to there. When I ordered my DX-6 I tried to order it with the throttle return spring and the 2 people I talked to didn't know what they were talking about and said I couldn't order it that way. Even though I had heard on here that people had?!?!?!
