Default Does this mean my motor is shot?

well I was using this 550 size motor from my MT in my wraith while I getting a proper 4wd motor, it had already 3 packs on the wraith and this last weekend after 5 minutes of running the car started to make a clack clack soung but pretty loud.

I stopped the car and dismanteled everything to check the tranny gears and they were good, same on my MIP shafts, diff gears good, so, nothing seem wrong, installed the motor on the tranny out from the car and rotated the shafts.. same sound, but tranny gears were smooth when I check them 5 minutes ago.. keep rotating the spur and same sound, I have no other option to open the motor and check it.

this is what i found

seem bit dirty LOL..

Im still a newb on RC and even more on BL power, but all that crap dont look too normal right? pieces or slices from I dont know where and a lot of oily ashes

time for a new motor

Overgeared....a 9t in a wraith is a bit overkill.

so with this motor what was the max gearing ratio ?
motor was never hot, average temps were always on 110f max on the temp gun..

if I want speed on a wraith what motor do you recommend? other than pro4 that everybody wants but its too pricey for me now.
