Check your transmitter reverse end points, also you can program the esc for the amount of reverse you want.

Yes. The default reverse speed is 50% IIRC.

Had the same thing recently on my first install/setup with a MMP. Had to program the reverse to 100%. Nice and easy if you follow the instructions and can hear well. The esc beeps at a low volume. Or maybe it is my loss of high freq sensitivity from years of working on and around turbine engine helicopters.

I am having similar issues with a MMP... Its slow goin forward and fast in reverse tho. Forward and reverse values are both set at 100% Remote throttle rate is set at 100% as well... When i change rotation via castle link and reverse throttle channel of remote its still the same, slow forward and fast reverse. Any ideas???

Sounds like mechanical timing in the motor.

Its a Novak Ballistic 13.5 turn sensored motor, guess i could've added that info!!! I have the "cheat" timing turned off.

The Ballistic has a 15 degrees timing built in. If it needs to "reverse" for the truck to move forward then that might be your problem. My motor also has 15 degrees mechanical timing, but I didn't notice that much of a speed difference when I had it running "backwards". Current consumption became a major concern though, as it pulls much more with negative timing. |

It could just be a soldering point on your motor, a 21.5t? That's a really slow motor, but that's my opinion, it could be an adjustment on your mamba max pro, if not call a tech., that could also be like a timing adjustment or even a setting witch the reverse is set higher than forward, idk if that would help but hope it does, - axial 4x4 crawler

open up your endpoints and then recalibrate the esc.
