Default Need advise on Batteries, ESC's, and motors

ESC, Batteries, motors.
am looking for input and advise on recommended esc, batteries and motors.

Where is a good place to buy?
Any recommendations on brands to purchase?

Looking for info on motors, ie...intervals for maintenance, type of maintenance, brush replacment, pinion gear selection ect...

Looking for info on battereis, ie....type, size number of cells, build you own vrs purchased stick packs, type of connections used(Deans or hard wire ect), charging recharging discharging requirments.

I am totally confused on all of the above mentioned items. Any and all asssitance would be great.
Thanx

What truck and what application,

I like to use Mtronics speedo's that are waterproof for any creek playing.
I have used a proboat speedo on a truck that sees a lot of draw and is waterproof, immediate reverse there is no lag or double hit of the controller needed.

I use prebuilt packs for convenience but your application is going to be the determining factor
