Default spektrum dx3c glitching

I recently went out with a group of probably twenty rigs and I started to get an issue with the throttle glitching on and off. I figured it needed a bec so I put one in ran it the same day with the same guys. If I was away from everyone it would work fine but as soon as I got with the group it started to glitch. The bec helped the steering issues I was having. Its all wired correctly and the only time it did it was around othet people. Has onyone had an issue like this with spektrum. I'm on the fence about buying a four channel and need to decide if I'm gonna go with the new futaba or the spektrum.

1-What other radios?
2-Your BEC, is it through the RX or direct to the servo? If to the servo, are the grounds connected to the RX (BEC & servo)?

I can't help with the glitching but I have always used spektrum and just made the switch to Futaba 4PL and could not be happier.

The bec is wired to the rx. It didn't make any difference with or without it. There were radios from all brands different makes and models I can't remember what everyone had. What I do know is when I was away from the group it worked fine. I've run 4 packs through it since by myself and had no issue. I'm just curious if anyone has experienced an issue like this.

My range didn't matter whether I was 5 feet or 25 feet. It only happened when I was with the group. I don't wanna buy more recievers for the rest of my projects if this is gonna be an ongoing issue. If anyone has had an experience like this please chime in.

I'm assuming for all of you, you've checked/changed the batteries in the TX?
Is your RX antenna coiled up or sorta straight?
Is your RX antenna near the ESC or motor leads?

While 2.4ghz radios are fairly immune to radio interference, following the old rules of RX separation from motors & ESC's still holds as does keeping the antenna stretched out.
It's not as needed now, but keep it in mind.

I have the rx at the rear of the rig as far away as I can get it from the motor and esc. The antenna isn't very long but I do have it straight and vertical. Pretty mutch the reciever is as far away from all of the electronics as possible. Ill have to get out again with the group and see which transmitter the other guys have ans see if there is one that is causing the issue.

I would put money on there being a flysky radio in the group.

Zero...........

I run a hacked FS GT3B, I am near a few Spektrums, Airtronics, a few Futaba's and have not had any issues.

I have seen more issues with flakey Spektrums over the years than other brands, ut there are a lot of variables.

Yes, I've read of some having issues with their radio with a FS nearby, but I have also read the opposite.

It would be helpful to find what radio/radios make your set-up glitch.

PS, most of my radios are Futabas......AM, FM & a 3PM-x 2.4ghz.

Spektrum fanboys in....well, you know.....

I run the dx3c and some our group run flysky radios. Some of the flysky systems will glitch my Spektrum system. Also, the flysky systems will glitch other flysky radios in the group. Not a fanboy of any company, just stating the facts we have experienced. The glitching between flyskys got so bad that most have switched over to futaba or spektrum. There were 6 of us with flysky systems. Right now there is 1. It was very strange. When we all got the flysky, nobody had a problem with interference and glitches. As time went on, the systems started messing with each other and other systems. One day things were fine, then the next day someone would turn on their transmitter and somebodies car/truck would freak out and go out of control.
