Default Brushed motor with TOM marking on endbell?

Anyone have info on these? Google and search didn't yield very much, maybe EddieO or Mr. Holmes will chime in?

Got another q for you if that's ok,
I put an epic arm into a yok can, made sure it was shimmed, but when I hook it up to power its not recognized by my esc. I put the epic arm into an epic can and it works fine? Anything I can do to get it to work in the yok can? The can is clean, and arm spins in the can freely by hand but not when connected to power and I don't get the chimes from my fxr either.

Shouldn't really matter with the can/arm combo. As long as nothing is rubbing, the hybrids (what they were called in the racing days) work just fine. Something else has to be wrong for it to not work. Possibly a brush is not contacting the comm or something like that.

Possibly its shimmed too tight and the esc is having troubles spinning it.
