Default Micro Sidewinder won't arm

I have a msw and when plugged in it beeps the first sequence but not the last bit. The green and yellow light was flashing, I have steering, but the motor won't turn and the light does not change (flashing green and yellow) with throttle setting.

Can't go into calibration mode too.

Plugged in Castle link and it works in program mode.

Anyone know what's going on? Its a used one that come with no wire, I soldered all the wires back (minus the switch).

Have you checked to make sure your throttle trim is zeroed? Throttle EPA's at 100 both ways? And have you tried reversing the throttle channel?

I just had that happen on my sidewinder sv2. It would read 3cells, but not give the arming sequence. Try increasing your dead-band and re calibrate to your controller. Mine didn't seem to re calibrate and just beeped alot but it arms quick now.

Check the ESC LVC setting and make sure the pack is charged.... Castle Creations | FAQ: 1/10th Scale Products

Like Charlie said, yellow and Green flashing is the light sequence for LVC. Check you settings, maybe re-set the ESC to default settings and re program it.

Shortly after I posted, I read the Castle site and learned that the green and yellow light meant LVC activated, I then made sure the battery was fully charged but same thing happened.

However after reading the reply, I reset the ESC and reprogrammed it and set the deadband to 1.125ms (large) and it works fine now....

I then tried to set the deadband back to the default 1.000ms and it does not arm (same green and yellow lights flashing). I set it back to 1.125ms and its ok now...

It bugger me, because the other 3 MSW i have are at 1.000ms and works fine. Anyway this one works now and thank you guys.

You might try a small amount of throttle trim and you might be able to reduce the deadband, it might not quite be seeing center.
Is it the same transmitter your running the other micros on?
