Default Tenshock SC411 question.

I'm looking at picking up another sensored motor for one of my rigs. The Tenshock SC411 5200Kv caught my attention and before you ask yes I like wheel speed.
I was wondering if anyone has one of these or a Tenshock in general and do you like it. I've got a pro4 and like it but don't really want to drop another $150 on a motor. Any feedback/input would be appreciated.

I have a non sensored 5200 Ten Shock in my slash 4x4. The thing is insanely fast. It's not easy on the MMP though. Puts it into thermal shut down if I push it. In a crawler you may be ok with the greater reduction. The motor is strong.

I have a 3500 kv sensored in my EXO with Hobbywing SCT Pro ESC, very good torque and run quite cool too. I run 3s.

That's good to know, I'll probably only ever run 2s in the rig it would go in. Think I may pick one up this weekend and test it out..

I've been running the tenshock sc411 3500kv/mmp on 3s in my wraith for close to a year now and its a stout motor with pretty good low speed control. I would say that it's a close comparison between it and the pro4. The only downside I see in the tenshock is that it's a 550 vs the 540 pro4. I've not had a problem with the mmp going into thermal(and I'm too hard on my stuff)but the fan will cut on. The tenshock will get a little warm but its never been too hot to touch with 64/15 gearing. I'm going to try 66/13 and see how it works out. So long story short I would recommend the tenshock.

I've been running one for the last year. I have the 3500kv. It stays cool and has oodles of torque. It has been in all my rigs at one point or another. It started in my old blue 79' Ford, now its in my SCX-10 NB Jeep. I'm running it on a MMP on mostly 2s. I plan on getting a 5200kv when I decide to build up a Baja style 79' Ford.
